Ahmad Amin Nazar was born in 1955 in Abadan. He studied at the conservatory and graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Tehran University.
He was a student of professors such as Mohsen Vaziri Moghadam and Hannibal Alkhas in the Faculty of Fine Arts of Tehran University. He traveled to Germany in 1985 to continue his artistic experiences. Amin Nazar returned to Iran after 15 years and held his first solo exhibition inside Iran at Afrand Gallery in 1994. He had held his first solo exhibition in Cologne a year before in 1993. Ahmad Amin Nazar has collaborated with various galleries, including Assar, Barg, Laleh, Afrand, Aria, Elahe and Homa. His works have been offered in various auctions such as Bonhams and Tehran Auction.
Amin Nazar's works are often figurative with expressive expressions. References to Iranian painting and calligraphy are also evident in his paintings. The most obvious feature of Amin Nazar's works is his strong drawing. Amin Nazar's drwaing approach, along with the use of Iranian painting background and personal creativity, has made his works unique compared to his contemporaries.
