Aref Roudbari, born in Sari, Iran in 1988, graduated in graphic arts. His journey into sculpture began in 2010, initially working with sand to create environmental and mortal sculptures before transitioning to metal in 2015. His debut solo exhibition, "Shaakhbaazi," was hosted at Seyhoun Gallery in 2015.

In addition to sand and metal, Roudbari also crafts sculptures from paper pulp. His creations draw inspiration from everyday life, addressing the challenges he encounters on a daily basis. Aref Roudbari is an active member of the Iranian and Mazandaran Sculptors Association and was a featured artist at the 6th Biennial of Tehran Urban Sculptures in 2018.
