The style of Arsia Moghaddam's works is kind of expressionistic and sometimes goes to abstraction; But he himself considers his works to be a continuation of Impressionism. He says: "In my paintings, I hate absolute legality as well as chaos, and in general I don't want to fall off the roof." His works are a combination of expressionist/impressionist style in form and fantasy and imagination in content. His paintings are an image of the simultaneity of memories and nostalgic atmosphere, as well as showing the daily life of the people that Moghaddam has carefully observed.
The manager of Homa Gallery has said: "He is a magical realist, the magic of this artist originates from his melancholic approach to the world, the world in his opinion is an artistic interpretation; In spite of all the human desires and demands towards the subject, he remains so amazed by his self-made world, that sometimes he forgets the viewer and this is where his good work lies. Arsia Moghaddam started painting in a strange way, as he says, he is a painter of memories; The memories that are more rooted in his life, are drowned in his illusions."
