Farhad Fozouni was born in Tehran in 1979. He received his bachelor's degree in graphic design from the Faculty of Art and Architecture of Islamic Azad University in 2003. Farhad Fozouni is in the category of fifth generation of Iranian graphic designers. In his works, visual elements are displayed in a favorable way along with text and letters as a combination of images and letters. His works are full of references to daily life, street life and life in Tehran society.
Except in the field of graphics, Fozouni is also active in the field of visual art. He started creating works of art in the 1990s and 2000s and became famous by holding several solo shows in Tehran's Azad Art Gallery and participating in numerous domestic and foreign biennials. His works have been exhibited at the 10th International Biennale of Polish Theater Posters and the 20th Warsaw International Poster Exhibition.
Later, in 2011-2013, he received an art scholarship from the German Academy of Scientific Exchange Services (DAAD) and was able to hold his first international solo show titled "Aftershock" in this country. Farhad Fozouni is currently a member of the Iranian Graphic Designers Association and the winner of awards such as the best typography work award in the first edition of the Chicago Poster Biennale (STA), the second place in the 14th Polish Poster Biennale, the Taiwan International Poster Design Award, the Golden Bee Award and the Silver Bee Poster Biennial Award, Moscow.
