Farhad Gavzan is mostly known for his drawings. His special view and style in drawing, in addition to making his name known, promoted drawing as an absolute medium and means of independent artistic expression. In the works of Farhad Gavzan, one can see an empiricist look that is sometimes accompanied by expressionist behaviors. The ridges and depressions that appear in the form of black and white spots, as well as the circular movements of the pen, both make his artworks resemble the organs of a living organism. These features made his works more popular.
Gavzan has played an important role in the development of drawing and training of various students during his two decades of professional activity.
