Artwork Description

  • Kourosh Adim portrays the poetry of the veil in his 'Dream Women' series, relating directly to ideas of femininity and exploring the sensuality of women. The white cloth at the forefront of the image represents the female form. The seeming lack of a real human presence makes the photo seem almost vacant and the wind to be the only thing that seems to be alive. The idea of female sensuality is played out through this movement of the wind as it makes the white cloth dance.
