Mahmoud Azadnia, an Iranian painter and caricaturist, was born in 1985 in Mashhad, Iran. He began his artistic journey in 2000 under the mentorship of his father, Sadegh Azadnia.

Azadnia held his first solo exhibition in 2010 in Pakistan. Following this, he showcased his work in solo exhibitions in Malaysia and Sweden. In Iran, he has collaborated with prominent galleries such as Artin, Eshraq, and Jana in Mashhad, as well as the Saless Gallery in Tehran. His artworks have also been featured in numerous group exhibitions in countries including Portugal, France, Poland, Spain, Belgium, and Italy.

Throughout his career, Azadnia has received several prestigious awards, including the first prize at the AYACC Festival in China (2011 and 2012) and the top award at the inaugural Fajr International Festival of Visual Arts in the caricature category.
