Mohsen Soheili Khansari, an Iranian painter and landscape designer, was born in Tehran in 1909 and died in 1996. Mohsen Soheili studied painting under the supervision of Kamal ol-Molk at Sanaye Mostazrafeh Art School, better known as Kamal-ol-Molk Art School and then traveled to Vienna to study the works of the artists in the Western world.
Soheili was among the first group of graduates of Sanaye Mostazrafeh Art School and had worked directly with Kamal ol-Molk. In painting, he first painted in the classic style and naturalism, but after returning from his trip, he tried to distance himself from classical painting and move closer to impressionist painting.
Mohsen Soheili's worked in the field of still life, figure making and imaginary painting, which later moved towards impressionistic landscape painting. The Paintings of this painter are kept in the treasury of the National Library, Malek Museum and Saad Abad Palace.
