Nasser Bakhshi, a painter, conceptualist, curator, collector, and museum founder, was born in 1983 in Tabriz. He began his artistic journey in 1995 and currently focuses on archival work and contemporary art in Iran and Belgium.
Bakhshi held his first solo exhibition in 2005 in Ahar, followed by exhibitions in Tabriz and Istanbul until the end of the 2000s. After various exhibition experiences in different countries, he settled in Tabriz and established the Bakhshi Archive Museum.
His artistic work revolves around painting and installation, reflecting an archival and documentary approach distinct to artists born during wartime. Bakhshi pursues a narrative of human experience in his works, seeking to comprehend the present through exploration of the past, free from political undertones.
