Ramin Jamshidi was born in 1988 in Tehran. Jamshidi started sculpture training at the age of 15 and was a student and assistant of Parviz Tanavoli. He has participated in many group exhibitions and held his first solo exhibition in 2014 at Mah Gallery.
Among Ramin Jamshidi's honors is winning first place and an honorary diploma in Chamkhale wooden sculptures event in Gilan. Ramin Jamshidi's sculptures have been installed in several places of Tehran as urban sculptures. He also has the third place and honorary diploma of the 5th Biennale of Urban Sculptures in Tehran in his resume, and participated in the creation of statue of Hakim Omar Khayyam for the University of Persian Literature in Spain. He has collaborated with various galleries, among which we can mention Mah, Aria, Aran and Iranian Artists forum.
Ramin Jamshidi pays special attention to time in his artworks and says that time is a contract established by humans and now humans are caught in the trap of what they have made.
