Sanaz Alborzi, Iranian calligrapher, was born in Ahvaz, Iran on July 7, 1986 and currently works in Istanbul, Turkey. Alborzi has MA in the field of Illustration, from Tehran University of Art and Architecture, Central branch (2014) and has a certificate of ten years of activity in the field of visual arts from the artistic vice-chancellor of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance. Alborzi is also a PhD student in Islamic Art History at Istanbul University, Turkey.
 
In addition to following her education, Sanaz Alborzi also has the experience of officially teaching specialized courses in graphics and teaching Kufi calligraphy in the domestic and international scale and is also engaged in holding workshops; The establishment of Kufi calligraphy workshop at Dubai Expo (2020) in collaboration with Qatar Pavilion and Kufi calligraphy workshop at the invitation of Sharjah Art Cultural Organization (2021) are two of these examples. Alborzi has been the judge of various festivals and conferences at the provincial, national and international levels.
 
The first solo exhibition of this calligrapher was held at Iran Art Gallery, Tehran (2011), and after that, she held two solo exhibitions at Ahvaz Contemporary Art Museum (2012) and Farda Gallery, Tehran (2016). This calligrapher has also participated in more than 50 group exhibitions at the domestic and international level in her artistic portfolio.
 
Obtaining the third place in the field of Kufic calligraphy at the Eriska International Festival, Turkey (2022), obtaining the top rank of the international festival "Safir Al-khat al-Arabi" in the Kufic calligraphy section (2021), winning the title of first place in the international festival "Safir Al-khat al-Arabi" in the calligraphy section Kufi line (2019), winning the title of the country's best young artist in the field of visual arts (2011) and the winner of the Khwarazmi International Festival are among the titles and awards that Alborzi has received.
 
Among the other activities of Sanaz Alborzi, one should mention the writing of the first volume of the Quran known as "Mushah Istanbul" by the order of the President of Turkey, Mr. Erdogan, in two primary Kufic and Eastern Kufic scripts. This artist is currently learning the Sols calligraphy under the supervision of master Dawood Becktash and teaching Kufi calligraphy in Istanbul, Turkey.
