Yahya Gomar, a painter born in 1987, earned his Master's degree in Painting from Isfahan University of Art. His first solo exhibition, titled "Poison Vessels, Goblets, and Houris," was held in 2017 at Sales Gallery, Tehran. Gomar has also participated in multiple solo and group exhibitions and received the National Painting Award in Isfahan in 2014.
The themes in Gomar's works are rooted in the tradition of Iranian pottery. His depictions of jugs and goblets are composed of intricate motifs, dots, and fine lines, bearing symbols and meanings that often escape the casual viewer's notice.
