Niloufar Mohammadifar (b.1987, Tehran, Iran) received her BA in Public Administration Payame Noor
University. Mohammdifar had participated in numerous group exhibitions in Europe, America and Asia
since 2012 and in a solo exhibition titled “Fireworks” at Azad Gallery. Mohammadifar looks through her
childhood memories and the traces left from growing under the dominance of traditional beliefs about
gender and the educational system. She puts those memories into a world that stands somewhere
between fantasy and reality and translates her thoughts and opinions into relationships she makes
between her figurative characters and the world she creates for them. She is a storyteller who tries to
grasp the gaze of the viewer and engage it with different layers of narratives within her work
