Hossein Mowlavian's paintings have made restraint thinner than hair, as a characteristic that indicates the nature of the artist's work is the need for honesty. The essence of his work is the interaction between the inside and the outside, the intense and violent ejection of what comes out of the damp boiling inside. His characters with certain commonalities are the appearance of human beings today. Desperate, confused and elusive from the present time, with what they do not have, they are looking for a way out. Mowlavian does not seek praise, condemnation, reward or punishment, what he is exploring with his bold pen is a never-ending struggle to get rid of the present we call life.
