The Galerie de France was created in 1942. It was taken over in 1981 by Catherine Thieck. It has become since February 2008 the New Galerie de France, managed by both Catherine Thieck and Marion Dana. Marion Dana shows at the NGF some young international artists that have never been shown in France. Catherine Thieck, on the other hand, organizes some remarkable projects, of historic importance.
