Reza Hedayat was born in 1966 in Qorve, Kurdistan province, where his artistic journey began under the mentorship of his uncle, Arab Ali Sherveh, a renowned painter and sculptor in Kurdistan. Growing up, he developed a deep appreciation for art, particularly painting. After graduating from Farhang and Adab High School in 1983, he encountered interruptions in his academic pursuits due to employment at a bookstore.
However, in 1990, Hedayat resumed his studies, embarking on a Bachelor's degree in painting. Despite the challenges, he remained committed to his artistic aspirations. In 1995, upon completing his Bachelor's degree, he pursued further studies in painting. Concurrently, he began teaching at Tehran University of Fine Arts and Azad University, while also joining the faculty of Sooreh University in 1991.
