Abbas Kiarostami's Market Review

26 July 2022
We know Abbas Kiarostami because of his simple, calm and unpretentious look; A look that is sometimes revealed on the cinema screen, sometimes in the frame of a photo, and sometimes on the canvas. Kiarostami's pure look at the simple details of human life and nature and highlighting these seemingly trivial issues is considered the most important component and connecting thread of his artworks in all three mediums of film, photography and painting. Nature is the main subject of most of his photographs and paintings. The images that he captures from nature invite the audience to reflect on the infinite greatness hidden in small things; The works that link the beauty of the detail to the beauty of the whole.
