Barriers to investment and capital attraction in setting up exhibitions and galleries in Iran

Iranian art can make a significant contribution to the country's economic and development programs, such as increasing national income, entrepreneurship, job creation, export development, etc. Art galleries and expos play a significant role in the economic growth of Iranian art. The purpose of this research is to investigate the investment barriers in establishing art galleries and expos. In this regard, concepts such as gallery and expo are first defined, and then the economic activity, income generation and profitability of galleries and expos are discussed. In the following, issues such as investment, economic participation and providing solutions to attract capital are stated. In this research, 200 natural and legal persons from investors who are owners of galleries and expos or investors who have invested in other fields of art were investigated. 200 questionnaires were provided to the investors through email, fax and face-to-face, of which 78 questionnaires were returned. In this research, the analysis was done using inferential statistics and SPSS software. According to the data analysis, the research results showed that there is a significant relationship between economic barriers, cultural-social barriers, structural barriers and individual barriers with investment barriers. In the final part of the research, solutions for more and more effective investment are presented.
