Ali Baharloo is a sculptor born in 1956 in Isfahan, Iran. Although he studied civil engineering, his lifelong passion for art—rooted in his childhood and teenage years—eventually led him to sculpture.
Baharloo held his first solo exhibition in 2021, titled "Maktabkhaneh Love Stories", at Gozar Gallery in Isfahan. The following year, in 2022, he presented a second solo show, "Told by the Voiceless", at Didi Museum in Mazandaran.
His works draw on a rich tapestry of romantic tales, myths, spells, and enchantments inspired by classical Persian literature. Baharloo primarily works with papier-mâché and wood, blending narrative depth with a handcrafted, folkloric aesthetic.
