Alireza Jodey, born in 1969, earned his diploma in Architecture from Qazvin Technical School in 1987. He later pursued both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Painting at Islamic Azad University (1989-1994).

Jodey held his first solo exhibition in 1997 at Aria Gallery, Tehran. Since the late 1980s, his work has been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions both in Iran and internationally, including the Bangladesh Biennale in 2004 and the Beijing Biennale in 2005.
