Amirkasra Golrang was born in Ahvaz in 1982. He received his bachelor's degree in painting from Isfahan Art University and his master's degree in illustration from Shahed University in Tehran.

Golrang has collaborated with many galleries and held several solo and group exhibitions. One of the most important exhibitions is "Non-Mechanical Reproduction" in Homa Gallery. Other galleries with which Amirkasra Golrang has collaborated are: O Gallery, Mohsen, Vali, Arte, Iranshahr and Nian Gallery.

Golrang's artworks are often created with a pen. The work space is monochrome and black is dominant. Amirkasra Golrang creates these works by regularly drawing lines with a very small distance from each other. The subject of his works are mostly flowers and plants, which are generally represented in the form of still life.
