Babak Rashvand completed his bachelor's and master's degree in visual communication at Tehran University's Faculty of Fine Arts. He held his first solo exhibition at Shokooh Gallery in 2012. He has participated in group exhibitions such as the 7th and 8th Grand Prize of Al Barde of the Emirates (2011, 2012) and calligraphy exhibition at the Moscow International Calligraphy Society (2012).

Rashvand has been selected in the Islamic World Calligraphy Exhibition (2001) and the 13th International Holy Quran Exhibition (2005). He has won the first place in the field of application of line in graphics in the 22nd national festival of Tehran students (2007).
