Artwork Description
This work seems to draw its inspiration from Edouard Manet's mid 19th century painting The Dead Toreador. Manet's painting deals with the subject of a violent and sudden death, something which Khosrojerdi has recreated in Eternal Rest. He has however rendered his work in a contemporary medium.
