Hossein Tamjid was born in 1971 in Ardabil, Iran. He received his bachelor's degree from Jahad University in 2005. Tamjid held his first solo exhibition titled "Stone Mountain" in 2009 at Homa Gallery, Tehran. He has also participated in several art fairs, including the San Francisco Art Fair Market. Tamjid has had several group exhibitions.

In Hossein Tamjid's works, the flowers appear in a different way and have a different color. This behavior can also be seen in the portraits which he drew with pen. In fact, frequent elements in Tamjid's works get identification.
