Maryam Hoseini was born in 1988 in Tehran. She earned her bachelor's degree in graphic design from Soore University in 2012. She pursued her studies in the United States and received her master's degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in Illinois in 2016. Alongside her academic achievements, Hoseini has been awarded art scholarships and fellowships from institutions such as Bard College.

Hoseini began her exhibition activities upon moving to the United States and held her first solo exhibition in the country at the Rachel Uffner Gallery in New York. Her works have been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions in cities such as Dubai, New York, Venice, Munich, and Chicago, as well as in renowned art fairs like Frieze and Art Basel.
