Mehran Mohajer (born in 1964) started photography at the beginning of the 1980s. He was a student of Photography in the undergraduate course and General Linguistics in the graduate course at Tehran University. In these years, Mohajer's eyes and mind have been more focused on the language mechanism of the camera and exploring its borders. Mohajer has exhibited his works individually in Iran and as a group exhibitions in Iran and abroad during the last three decades. He has recorded 13 solo shows in his prtfolio.
This artist is a member of the faculty of Tehran Azad University and has three decades of teaching experience. Mohajer has written and translated several books in the field of literary criticism and photography: "Towards the Linguistics of Poetry", "Vocabulary of Literature and Literary Discourse" and "Encyclopedia of Contemporary Literary Theories" are among the books written by this artist.
