Mohammad Hossein Ariyaei was born in 1987 in Isfahan, Iran. He began his artistic journey as a self-taught painter and held his first exhibition in 2012 at Laleh Gallery. Ariyaei's first solo exhibition was presented in 2018 at Delgosha Gallery.
Ariyaei's distinctive artistic approach involves completely filling the canvas to create immersive visual narratives. He renders characters that directly reflect his inner consciousness, expressing his thoughts through a rich palette of colors without filtration. Occasionally, he incorporates verses from classical Persian poets Saadi and Hafez into his compositions, providing viewers with interpretive guidance.
While his works maintain conceptual accessibility, they create a fascinating dichotomy: though initially appearing fantastical or even unsettling, the sophisticated application of color transforms this potential discomfort into an engaging aesthetic experience. Each of Ariyaei's creations stands as a vibrant chronicle of his internal landscape.
