Mohammad Reza Amouzad, born in 1974 in Behshahr, began his artistic journey in 1988 by studying calligraphy. In 2001, he enrolled in painting studies and later pursued a master’s degree in visual communication.
Since 1999, he has focused on calligraphic painting and later expanded into sculpture. His works often take the form of bas-reliefs that integrate calligraphy and line. In addition to his practical work, Amouzad has conducted research and produced publications in the fields of calligraphy studies, manuscript studies, and the history of script.
