Mohammad Reza Yazdi, the Iranian sculptor, was born in Tehran in 1986. His formative years were spent in an art school during high school, and in 2009, he graduated from Tehran University with a degree in sculpture. Post obtaining his bachelor's degree, Yazdi pursued advanced studies in art research at the same university. His journey as an exhibiting artist commenced in 2006, even before the completion of his undergraduate studies. Notably, Yazdi inaugurated his inaugural solo exhibition titled "Flight" in 2013 at Dastan Art Gallery, Tehran.
In 2017 and 2018, Mohammad Reza Yazdi assumed the role of Vice-Chairman of the Iranian Sculptors Association. Concurrently, he contributed to academia by teaching sculpture at Tehran University during this period. Furthermore, he is a distinguished graduate of the Iran Calligraphers Association. Despite the geometric nature of Yazdi's works, crafted from dry materials, screws, and nuts, they intricately engage with human and societal themes. The completion of his works unfolds through dynamic interaction with the audience, illustrating the profound fusion of art and societal narratives.
