Mohsen Daei Nabi, a university teacher and calligrapher, was born in 1973 in Tehran. After obtaining a bachelor's degree in graphics, he continued his studies in the master's degree in art research.
Daei Nabi studied calligraphy under the tutelage of Hasan Sekhawat, Ki Khosro Khorush, Abbas Akhavin and Gholamreza Moshasha'i and received numerous awards in this field. In 1990, he became the distinguished calligrapher of Iran's calligraphers' association and won the first place in the calligraphy competition of Deha Fajr and Holy Quran in 1995 and 1998, respectively.
Mohsen Daei Nabi is the author of the book Murgh Bismillah and has recorded more than twenty solo exhibitions and ninety group exhibitions in his artistic portfolio.
