Omid Mehdizadeh was born in Tehran in 1983. Photography is central to his artistic practice, and his work has been presented in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Iran and internationally, including in Germany and Dubai.

Mehdizadeh’s works develop through extended, multi-stage processes that involve experimentation with materials, techniques, and methods of image-making. By extending photographic practice through physical and material interventions, he explores the boundary between image and object.
