Rasoul Oliyazadeh earned his Bachelor's degree in Painting from the University of Art and a Master's degree in Illustration from Islamic Azad University. He was awarded a first-degree art certification (equivalent to a Ph.D.) by the Iranian National Art Evaluation Council.

From 2005 to 2016, Oliyazadeh served as the head of the Iranian Photographers' House. He is also a founding member and board member of both the Press Photographers' Association and the Theater Photographers' Association. His work has been exhibited in numerous shows in Iran and abroad, including a solo exhibition at the Iranian Artists' Forum in 2024.
