Roksana Pirouzmand was born in 1990 in Yazd. She earned her bachelor’s degree in fine arts from the California Institute of the Arts in Los Angeles in 2017 and completed her master’s degree in the same field in 2022.

Pirouzmand held her first solo exhibition in 2009 at the Yazd Art House before emigrating from Iran. Her works have since been showcased in both solo and group exhibitions in Hong Kong, New York, Los Angeles, Beijing, and Tehran. Pirouzmand’s pieces have also been featured at art fairs such as Frieze and Art Basel, as well as the Hammer Museum Biennial.
