Seyed Ali Mirfattah was born in 1967 in Tehran. Most of his fame is due to his activities in the field of journalism. He started his career as a journalist from Soureh Weekly. He was working as an editor in this magazine since 1992. He was also the editor of Mehr Magazine since 1997. In the following years, he became the editor of other magazines such as Negah, Kargadan, as wel as Roozegar and Etemad Newspapers.
In addition to journalism, Mirfattah has also authored several books, such as "Gate Dakhani" (2016) and "Shamsiyeh Landaniyeh" (2018), both published by Peydayesh. Mirftah has also worked as a screenwriter; for instance, the scripts for the documentary "Mannequins of Hassan Khan's Castle" (Sam Kalantari, 2015) and the television series "Memoirs of an Unfinished Man" (Sadegh Karamyar, 2012), which were broadcast on the One TV channel.
Seyed Ali Mirfattah also has many experiences in the field of graphic design, including the poster design for movies such as: "Sometimes look at the sky" (Kamal Tabrizi, 2002), "Ghadamgah" (Mohammed Mahdi Asgarpour, 2004), "Spaghetti in Eight Minutes" (Rambod Javan, 2004), "Fish Fall in Love" ( Ali Rafiei, 2004) and "Salvation at Eight Twenty" (Sirous Alvand, 2004), "Last night I Saw Your Dad Aida" (Rasoul Sadr Aamili, 2004), "Max" (Saman Moghadam, 2004) and "Transit Cafe" (Kambozia Partovi, 2005).
