Solmaz Nabati was born in Tehran in 1987 and lives and works in Tehran. Nabati pursued her education in the field of painting at Al-Zahra University in Tehran and received her bachelor's and master's degrees in painting from this university in 2011 and 2014, respectively.

Nabati held her first solo exhibition in Seyhoun Art Gallery in 2015 and has participated in more than 30 group exhibitions since the beginning of her career. Nabati was also the recipient of award from the 2012 People’s Choice Reward of the 4th Damoonfar Festival, Tehran.

Nabati’s works that are critical to the industrial world are kept in many public and private collections throughout the Middle East.
