Tahmineh Sherafat, born in Tehran in 1985, is a photographer and visual artist. She holds a BA in Photography from the Art and Architecture University of Tehran. Her work has been exhibited extensively in Iran and internationally, including in Italy and Canada. Taking a contemporary approach, Sherafat’s practice examines the nature of the image, the instability of meaning, and the relationship between photography, philosophy, memory, and time.
