Taraneh Khodaei, born in 1986 in Tehran, is an accomplished artist, architect, and designer. She holds a degree in architecture and began her artistic journey in 2005.
Khodaei is a multidisciplinary artist known for her innovative approach to art. She employs unconventional techniques such as scanning in her photography to capture moments uniquely. Her expertise extends to mirror work and creating suspended installations, seamlessly blending the boundaries between visual arts, architecture, and design to produce groundbreaking compositions.
In 2015, Khodaei held her first solo exhibition at Mohsen Gallery, followed by another solo show at Jorjani Gallery the following year. She also participated in the Emerging Photographers Festival in Calgary, Canada. Since 2018, Khodaei has been living and working in Canada.
