What guides my pictorial expression is a sovereign alchemy which activates the fusion of my instincts and desires, my ideas and dreams. The painting becomes the meeting ground of reason and the senses: it also acts as my link with the outside world. A concern that is shared amongst most contemporary painters, and one which preoccupies me most, is finding a technique of my own which is able to give shape and form to my expression, as adequately and faithfully as possible. Experimentation therefore plays an integral and key role in my work.
