Attending intimate gatherings of different individuals, who are often acquaintances or strangers to me, and witnessing moments where they come together over a meal, became possible for me through flipping their family albums.

In every photos, I was confronted with stories and details that engaged my storytelling mind. I encountered both familiar and foreign elements in these images, each carrying nostalgic and sometimes innovative references.
After collecting a three-year archive of photos from various albums, focusing on gatherings and shared meals with different friends and relatives, I approached several artists.

I commissioned them to create artworks that resonate with their artistic background which are in harmony with the theme of communal dining.

I aimed to enhance the relationship between these artworks and the archival photos, ensuring that they have a deliberate and substantial connection.

Moreover, I strived to create a visually cohesive and complementary narrative when presenting them together. The thoughtful arrangement of these pieces on the walls has also been of utmost importance to me.
