Usually in any society as long as people have the same habits and behaviors, everyone is completely accepted. However, in many societies over the years idiosyncratic or peculiar people have found their place and acceptance as well. But many societies still have a hard time accepting idiosyncratic or peculiar people. In my opinion any society needs more of these individuals, who I believe can bring with them new habits & cultures which can create fundamental changes in the society.
