In 2022, viennacontemporary will take place from 8 to 11 September. For the first time, Vienna’s leading art fair invites you to discover exciting newcomers, established galleries, and carefully curated special exhibitions with a focus on Central- and Eastern European in the magnificent halls of Kursalon Vienna, which lies in the heart of the city.
Curated special shows, performances, a high-quality educational program with major stakeholders from the global art world, guided tours to selected public and private art institutions, and collaborations with prominent art producers complete the extensive offer. A special focus will be placed on digital phenomena and collecting formats in contemporary art.
With its new venue, the fair literally moves into the heart of the city, taking advantage of the proximity of the many surrounding galleries, renowned museums, charming cafés, important cultural institutions, and architectural highlights to offer a brilliant, comprehensive art program.
