Vahed Khakdan's Market Review

Khakdan unit's photo-like and mysterious paintings have a touch of magical realism. He was the son of Valiullah Khakdan, one of the pioneers of stage design in Iran, and he got used to art from childhood. He started his preliminary art studies at the Tehran Fine Arts Academy and later entered the Decorative Arts Academy in 1968 and continued his studies in the field of interior architecture. Three years after graduation, he showed his works in his first solo exhibition at Seyhoun Gallery. Since then, he has shown his works many times in Iran, America and Germany. Until the early 1980s, he had scattered activities in parallel with painting in the field of interior architecture and designing sets and costumes for theater and cinema, and in 1984 he moved to Germany.
