Amir Hossein Heshmati was born in Tehran. In 2008, he exhibited his photos for the first time in a solo "Kanglan Tree" exhibition in Tehran's Vali Gallery. The same year, his photographs were also presented in another group exhibition at Dey Gallery in Tehran. His first international experience took place in 2012 at London's Opera Gallery in the form of a group exhibition titled "Iranian Art." A year later, he participated in another group exhibition at the Dubai branch of the same gallery. In a note she wrote on the occasion of this artist's exhibition at Shirin Gallery, Maryam Roshanfekr mentioned his photography style as "Abstract Impressionism." The subject of most of Heshmati's works is shaped by elements of nature. By playing games with the shutter speed and moving his camera, he records a fleeting and instantaneous effect of his subjects, which are more focused on the viewer and the process of seeing. Of course, this feature is only visible in some periods of the artist's work. In his other photos, he has a complete landscape approach and captures wide views of nature, animals, or even details of this nature. Heshmati said in an interview about the connection between his visual world and nature: "For photographing nature, you need a serious attachment to the subject and space to be able to convey the desired concepts and feelings to the audience, so luck sometimes creates good photos. But it does not continue."
