Inspired by the desert landscapes of his homeland, Turkmen Sahra, Tatari often applies the warm shades of orange and red to illustrate semi-abstract figures, who are often participants in traditional Persian ceremonies. Tatari teaches fine arts at Tehran University, Iran.
