Aydin Khankeshipour was born in 1982 in Rasht, Iran. He earned a bachelor's degree in painting from the University of Sistan and Baluchestan in 2005. He later received two master’s degrees in painting and illustration from the University of Art in Tehran in 2007 and 2009, respectively.
His first solo exhibition was held in 2007 at Golestan Gallery in Tehran. Since the early 2010s, he has also been involved in curatorial projects. In addition to his artistic practice, he teaches drawing, painting, and printmaking.
Khankeshipour’s works are often characterized by soft brushstrokes, blurred subjects, and crosshatched layers in both foreground and background. These features are particularly evident in his three series: "Stranger", "Tam-Toumaze (Pent-Up)", and "Freedom".
