Iraj Shayestehpour, a multifaceted artist encompassing painting and poetry, was born in Tehran in 1946. He pursued his academic studies in agriculture at the University of Goettingen, Germany. Returning to Iran in 1970, Shayestehpour embarked on his artistic journey by publishing his collection of poems titled "Tired Songs Fly."
Driven by an adventurous spirit, Shayestehpour embarked on travels across various regions of the world, spanning from Europe to Africa. His exploration extended to America, where he immersed himself in the life and culture of Native Americans. These diverse experiences significantly influenced Shayestehpour's artistic expression, manifesting in his paintings. He has showcased his works in numerous exhibitions across the globe, including Italy, England, Poland, and America.
