Jalaledin Soltan Kashefi began his artistic education at the Tehran School of Fine Arts, specializing in Persian miniature painting (1963). He went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Painting and Printmaking at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, graduating in 1970. Kashefi later earned both a Master's degree (1973) and a Ph.D. (1978) in Aesthetics from the Sorbonne University in France. In 1984, a comprehensive collection of his works was exhibited at the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art. Additionally, he served as the head of the Master's program in Art Research (1993), further contributing to the academic field.
