The paintings of Nicky Nodjoumi often feature images of political leaders taken from the daily newspapers, which are then Nodjoumi recast into unsual settings, ironic comments on current events. In the present work a group of grey besuited businessmen ceremoniously carry a spot of grass atop of which sits a squirrel- a wry look at the priorities given to environmental concerns.
