Ramtin Zad was born in 1984 in Tehran and received his art diploma from Tehran Payam Contemporary Art School. He studied BA in graphic design at Jihad University and graduated in 2007. He held his first solo show in the same year at Golestan Gallery in Tehran. More than 10 solo exhibitions of Ramtin Zad's works have been held so far. Zad has also participated in numerous domestic and foreign group exhibitions.

Ramtin Zad's paintings and sculptures complement each other. His paintings are improvisations and speed is one of its main elements. His created atmospheres are usually caotic, but sometimes he paints only a single figure. In Ramtin Zad's later works, figures and other elements are in a crowded state.
