Sadegh Adham was born in 1978in Masjedsoleyman. His works belong to a place between fantasy and reality, and for this reason, this artist's paintings have more surrealist elements. His artworks include drawing, painting and sculpture.
Adham came to Tehran because of his interest in painting. He has both architectural and mythological view in his works. His paintings mostly consist of oval, cube, circle and square shapes. The same interest in geometric shapes can be seen in his sculptures. By summarizing voluminosity and turning it into simpler one, he breaks the boundary between representation and abstraction. Most of his artworks have the flavor of history and primitiveness.
Adham’s sculpture was chosen in 2013 Niavaran Sculpture Biennial and he also received the first prize for drawing in the 7th, 8th and 9th Visual Arts Festival in Khuzestan in 2005-2007 which held by Ahvaz and Abadan Museum of Contemporary Arts.
A work by Sadegh Adham was presented at the Iran national auction for the first time in 2017.
