Sadegh Adham, born in 1978 in Masjed Soleiman, is an artist whose works lie somewhere between fantasy and reality, often with surrealistic elements.
In his works, Adham incorporates perspectives from architecture and mythology. His paintings mainly consist of oval, cubic, circular, and square shapes. This fascination with geometric shapes is also evident in his sculptures. By simplifying and abstracting forms, he blurs the line between figurative art and abstraction. Many of his works carry a sense of history and primitiveness.
Adham's work was selected at the Niavaran Sculpture Biennial in 2011. He also won first place in drawing at the seventh, eighth, and ninth Khuzestan Visual Arts Festivals from 2005 to 2007, held by the Museum of Contemporary Art in Ahvaz and Abadan.
